Cthulhu Exorcist

[No Harem] [Mystery and Puzzles] [Cthulhu Elements] Behind superstition lies more than a mere trace of evidence. It is a massive stone of truth, poised to crush the world. The ancient arts of magic and arcane rites have been forgotten. The once-abundant arcane energy has become a scarce resource, hidden away in secret rooms by the few who still cling to the old ways. To the general public, magic is nothing but absurd superstition, the strange beasts of old have become unsolved mysteries, and the vast organizations secretly manipulating the world are dismissed as conspiracy theories. Samuel was born into this world. The last descendant of a wizarding family once notorious for "making a pact with an evil god," this young mage now earns his living doing tedious exorcism work. Most of the time, he's just helping clients deal with creaky floors and drafty houses. He drifts through his days in a daze, yet can't stop longing for the glorious magic described in ancient books. Then fate takes a turn, chaos descends, and magic returns. As strange beasts pour from their lairs, spirit boards summon true demons, and haunted-house parties turn into full-blown nightmares, the world begins to unravel. Amid the chaos, this descendant of a dark wizard has only one thought: restore his family's glory. But it isn't only magic that has returned. An ancient conspiracy that spans countless ages has awakened as well. The ancient war that once tore the magical world apart, and was finally ended by Samuel's ancestors, is stirring once more.
