The Strange Arrive, and My Authority Is Scattered Across the Mortal World

Five hundred years after the catastrophe, a group of grave robbers dug me out of the ruins. They planned to sell me for a good price.

At the time, I had no memories and no power.

That all changed when they placed an object recovered from the ruins in front of me.

I reclaimed my first authority.

When I left the ruins, I found that humanity had built cities atop the wreckage of the old world.

Beyond the high walls, missing trains still ran. Uninhabited blocks lit up every night on schedule. Some places allowed entry, but not departure.

My powers were scattered across these places.

Some people worshipped them as miracles, others sealed them away as forbidden things, and still others used them to rule entire cities.

And I was reclaiming them, one by one.

As my power returned, more and more eerie things began appearing around me.

They lingered and followed, repeatedly trying to invade my mind.

I killed some of them.

Then one day, I finally heard that voice clearly.

It was calling my name!
