Scattered by Wind and Rain

A catastrophic flood, and a thread of fate buried for decades. Years later, the tide of the times swept in, ushering the real estate industry into its golden age. Some rode the wave to success, while others fell into the dust. From a feverish boom to a sudden plunge, they watched him build his tower, then watched it collapse. The tide came and went, and every rise and fall was swept away by wind and rain. Spanning several decades, this sweeping realist epic tells the story of ordinary people caught up in the times, and all they held on to and lost.
