Patching the Sky with Bugs

The year 2086. United Nations Headquarters. Chen Yan presses Enter, and 42 trillion virtual particles burst to life inside a quantum computer, recreating the universe's entire 13.8-billion-year history. The project, named “Genesis,” shocks the world. But no one knows that this digital universe matches, word for word, the abandoned novel draft by Xia Feng, a nobody of an author whose editor forced him to delete it. Xia Feng has spent ten years writing online fiction without ever landing a contract. His life always falls just short: he has practiced qigong for eight years without ever breaking through, his novel's follower count is always stuck at exactly 9,743, and three business ventures have all had their data wiped out the night before launch. Until the press conference. A plague breaks out, and a reporter collapses in front of him, black blood streaming from all seven orifices. Chief scientist Chen Yan cuts through the chaos and looks straight at him, a stranger sitting in the very last row. At last, Xia Feng understands: He's not unlucky. He's an anomaly. The original BUG that has existed in this System since the very first day of its creation. The System initiates its highest-level purge: erasing all his traces from the internet and severing every connection he has to the world. Everyone thinks he will overturn the System and destroy the world. But Xia Feng makes a choice no one could have expected: He will stitch the sky with a needle! While others cultivate immortality and comprehend the Great Dao, I go straight to the universe's source code! While others endure tribulations and resist heavenly lightning, I change the System's rules and make the lightning strike itself! While others ascend to the divine realm, I rewrite the laws of the Heavenly Dao and become the one who stitches the sky! A BUG that was supposed to destroy the world, I insist on using to stitch the sky! The flaw that should have been erased will ultimately become the strongest patch!
