I, an Art Student, Take the Time to Rest

Xie Haiming has a secret: there is an extra painting in his sketchbook that was not drawn by him. The painting showed a dark figure huddled in the corner - exactly the same "thing" he saw in the school corridor three days ago. What's even more outrageous is that his mother has been writing novels about immortality for fifteen years. The bloody spells in the novel are all true. That was what his father, who had been missing for five years, left behind before he left. So his daily life became like this: studying math during the day, drawing talisman at night, going to Qingcheng Mountain for training on weekends, and finding time to suppress those things that crawled out of his obsession. Others use cinnabar yellow paper to draw symbols, but he uses 2B pencils and sketchbooks. Others relied on thunder and swordsmanship to slay demons, but he relied on drawing a windmill to blow away the spores, and drawing a stereo to drown out the echo. His deskmate Su Shi'an is a sword cultivator sent by the Yiwen Bureau. His mission is only three words: watch him. The thing she said the most was: "Your hands were shaking when you were drawing the talisman. I did the same thing before the competition. It will be fine after shaking." Later he discovered that he had some obsessions and kept cutting with his sword. Some suffering cannot be saved. The highest state of immortality is not invincibility. It is knowing that there is no solution, but still willing to stop and stand with that person for a while.
