The Beginning and the Final Chapter: My Destination

This book is dedicated to all the bus drivers working on the front lines. Thank you for your hard work! Yang Yi’s years in the army were a youth tempered by passion. The hardships of the training ground, the comrades at his side, and the weight of responsibility on his shoulders shaped his upright and principled character. After leaving the army, he longed for an ordinary life and made his living wherever he could in the bustle of the city. Fate had long been weaving its threads around him. In a past life, he fought to the death amid the turmoil of the late Ming dynasty, then gave his life for his country in the flames of war during the Republic of China era. A former love from another life quietly returned across the years, only to vanish again in an instant. Memories of the past kept knocking at the door of his present life. The army had forged his true nature, but fate’s trials still lay ahead. When he entered the bus industry, he was met head-on by tangled conflicts of interest. Having weathered war and the ups and downs of human life, Yang Yi came to understand that fame and fortune were all vanity. All he wanted in life was to protect his family and share the everyday joys of life with the person he loved.
