Divinity

At midnight, certain places fold into another layer of space, and someone has to seal them back up. In this world, a single glance from someone can awaken an ability within you. Abilities cannot be trained; they can only be awakened by being looked at again, and each time, you must surrender something you can never get back. The more you awaken, the less you have left. Divinity is not about what you have gained, but what remains of you. There are no heroes born here, only ordinary people willing to face the consequences.
