Mountains and Seas Not Forgotten

Xuan Li was born among the immortal people. He no longer ages after he reaches adulthood, but he will still be injured, forgotten, and killed. The death of an old friend in the clan made him leave his hometown south of Kunlun for the first time. He wanted to see the sea, and promised an old man who couldn't walk that he would come back and tell him after seeing it. At that time, dragons were still fighting for water in the rivers, phoenixes were migrating in the vast mountains, and witches could hear the voice of God. Xuan Li traveled eastward along the river, meeting short-lived people and powerful creatures. He has saved children, misjudged good intentions, and sometimes kept the promises he made, but sometimes it was too late. In the long years that followed, the sky cracked, the heavenly roads closed, the gods took charge, and the names of old friends gradually entered the altars and songs. The past events he experienced were also told in a different light. Xuan Li carved his name on his bones and tied his worries into knots. But the bones will break, the hemp rope will break, and even he himself will forget. He is still moving forward. There are people on the road waiting for him to come back.
