Douluo Dalu: The Stele Engraver, from the Start, Analyzing Every Martial Soul

Among the countless Douluo fanfics, this is the only one whose protagonist has no desire to become a god. Twelve-year-old Song Si was branded useless by Spirit Hall: zero Innate Soul Power and a Trash Martial Soul, a gray stone stele. But the worthless stone tablet everyone mocked was actually the “Nameless Tombstone” from the dawn of creation! With a single glance, it can see through flaws in Martial Souls, inflated Soul Ring levels, and hidden knots in the meridians. The soul skills his enemies take pride in are riddled with openings in his eyes. It can even summon the true names of ancient dead souls that orthodoxy would erase. But the price is cruel beyond measure: each use costs him a piece of his own memory. The more names of the dead he carves, the less of Song Si’s past remains. While others fight over Soul Rings and divine seats, Song Si buries bones and carves incomplete names. Across the ages of the human world, a name must endure!
