A Warm Christmas Eve

The First Squad of the Binhai City Fire Special Service Brigade is a team that has spent years fighting on the most dangerous front lines. Squad leader Xu Ping'an is an orphan who crawled out of a fire. He has carved the words “stay safe” into the battle cry he gives on every callout. Deputy squad leader Zhou Mingyuan is a cool-headed technical expert, haunted by the fact that he failed to save the last person in a devastating fire five years ago. Rookie Lin Xiaoman joined the team with dreams of becoming a hero, but nearly broke down after facing death for the first time. There is also the ever-capable “old squad leader” Zhao Tiezhu, the team's only female firefighter, He Yutong, and driver Sun Hao, who is always smiling but hiding a secret... They are ordinary people. They feel fear, they cry, and they miss home. But when the alarm sounds, they become the wall standing between death and the people. On every callout, just as the fire engine pulls out of the garage, they speak softly into their radios: “Stay safe.” Those words are an order, a prayer, and a promise.
