Wasn't the World Supposed to End?

Lin Qi was a “doomsday prophet” prepared to die. On the final day of the doomsday countdown, he spent all his savings stockpiling supplies until his home was packed to the brim. He even got hit by a car while saving the campus beauty, Xia Cheng. But when the clock struck midnight, the world was just fine. The apocalypse never came. Everyone in the world forgot that “fictional doomsday,” and only Lin Qi retained his complete memories. The apocalypse never came, but his “Calamity Prophet System” remained, downgraded from a “doomsday countdown” to a “daily bad-luck countdown.” He could see the absurd “cause of death keywords” and countdowns above everyone’s heads. From then on, Lin Qi was forced to use his power to see how people would “die in ridiculous accidents” to become an “invisible guardian” who put all kinds of troublemakers in their place in a peaceful world.
