One Person Guards the Nation’s Gate, the Hope of Humanity

Chu Xiu is an orphan who learned a whole set of boxing techniques from Chu Tieshan, an old soldier who guarded the nation’s gates. His grandfather died beyond the frontier, leaving him only a black saber, half a manual of boxing techniques, and a bloodstained token engraved with “Three-Seven.” He scrapes by in the city, hauling cargo, fixing cars, and living on instant noodles. He only wanted a quiet life. But there are always people looking for trouble, and trouble always finds its way to him. He doesn’t hold back his cultivation, and he never swallows his anger. At the slightest provocation, he fights. Then one day, he finally learns what lies behind the gate his grandfather guarded. Now it’s his turn to guard the nation’s gate.
