After the World

In 2201 AD, red-blue, a massively multiplayer online game developed by the United Territories, launched worldwide. The game divides players into the Blue Team and the Red Team, who aid their factions by plundering their opponents’ Mind Points. Players who lose points are not eliminated, but must pursue a path outside their original class or lose their player status. The three laws of red-blue: 1. No one can take away a player’s real-world skills. 2. Leveling up is not about becoming a stronger player, but escaping the fate of being devoured by someone stronger. 3. Losing points is equivalent to death, so everyone has eight lives. The seven classes in red-blue: Cultivators, Mages, Body Refiners, Espers, Witchcasters, Holy Knights, and Machinists. Hidden class: Gamer.
