While You're All Fighting for It, My System Lets Me Win by Doing Nothing

On graduation day, everyone urged Shen Yan to compete. His girlfriend said, "If you land a management trainee position at Huayao, we'll have a future together." His parents said, "The whole Shen family is counting on you to make us proud." His cutthroat classmate sneered, "Only losers lie flat." Then Shen Yan bonded with the Dao Realm Simulator. 【Decision point detected. Compiling two possible futures.】 【Compete: brief glory, but in the long run, strength invites ruin and fortune is depleted. Ominous.】 【Lie flat: an uneventful start, but opportunities will arrive on their own and all things will lend their support. Auspicious.】 【System recommendation: Lie flat.】 Shen Yan: "..." He had planned to lie flat in peace, but then: He lay flat and saved an old man, who promptly handed him a mysterious token. He stepped aside for a grind-obsessed classmate, who ended up getting himself into trouble. He stood watch at an exit no one wanted, and the unstoppable Boss's punch missed, causing it to destroy itself on the spot. The whole world went wild: "Now that's a true master! To win without competing, how unfathomable!" Clutching the appointment letter he'd just received, Shen Yan looked utterly defeated. "No, really, I just want to get some sleep..." Forced lie flat mode: activated.
