The Heartless Heavenly Dao Cuts All Bonds

If Heaven does not tolerate those who are different, why spread the mortal world across the ages and establish myriad paths of cultivation between heaven and earth?

If one seeks the Dao, why sever all ties to the mortal world and cast aside the past?

If one has no feelings, desires, self-interest, or sense of justice, how can one even speak of cultivating the Dao and keeping oneself true?

Who could have imagined that once the truth of the Heavenly Dao became known to all, would people still have the passion to protect the past, to protect...

As the saying goes:

The Heavenly Dao is heartless, severing all bonds of love; I drink alone, with no one to pity me.

If all paths must return to one, why did Heaven’s will scatter them throughout the mortal world?

Empty sorrow, searching for a beloved, all so we can sleep together forever.
