The Sin-Eater’s Eye

Graystone Village was slaughtered overnight. Of its 107 residents, only Adrian survived. The killers said he was the “Vessel of Sin” the Church had hunted for forty years, the last bloodline of the Hells family. On the night he awakened, he opened his Sinblood Eye, which could see the sins in people's hearts. Power came free, but his personality was the price: pride, wrath, greed... The Seven Deadly Sins awakened in his blood one after another, feeding his ambition even as they gnawed at his soul. An imperial general pursued him with a frosty spear, following the wanted posters. A saintess smiled at him tenderly and said he was the forty-seventh she'd been waiting for. His adoptive father taught him to sharpen a blade, only to sharpen him into a pawn. Everyone wanted to use his eyes to open a door. Locked behind it was the truth his mother had given her life to hide: Solaris and Nox were one and the same. He refused to be a blade. But when the bells rang and his sinblood surged, he realized that everyone on this chessboard was waiting for him to make a move.
