Big Day

Li Daxi, 38 years old, is a delivery rider in Peiping. He runs 30 orders a day and earns 6,500 yuan a month. He is talkative and can chat with anyone he meets. Customers praise him, neighbors like him, and the webmaster says he was born to do this. A family of six squeezed into 18 square meters in Huaishu Hutong - the mother was confused, the younger brother dropped out of school, the younger sister got divorced, the wife lived a boring life, and the son just entered junior high school. The days were tight, but Li Daxi thought it was okay, so he gritted his teeth and got over it. Until the demolition office comes. Eighteen square meters, 420,000. Li Daxi took the piece of paper and couldn't get out of poverty - 420,000 yuan, which was not even enough for the down payment of a one-bedroom apartment outside the Sixth Ring Road. From that day on, life was never easy. My mother didn't recognize him anymore. My younger brother owed him 300,000 yuan. My wife secretly took the accounting certificate and hid it. My son said, "All my classmates live in a building, and I don't have a room of my own." He started working three jobs, delivering food during the day, driving at night, and moving goods in the early morning. He didn't dare to see a doctor or say he was tired. His biggest wish in this life is to give his son a room of his own. He promised his son that after the demolition, he would buy a building and install a bookshelf. My son believed it. This is a man named Li Daxi who has been talking nonsense all his life. He thought that if he was poor, his life would be better. He didn't know that some days would never get better. There is no counterattack, no comeback, this is just an ordinary person - he lives, he carries, he is poor, and then he is gone. But after he left, life continued. His wife said to the portrait every morning, "The weather is good today." His brother continued to deliver food on his electric bike. His son wrote his story into a book.
