The Heavens Rise with Chen

The boundless cosmos stretches on without end. Across the Myriad Worlds, humans and spirits coexist. Legend says that amid the endless chaos, someone once wielded divine powers to cleave open the darkness of ages and establish order across the Myriad Worlds. Since then, countless living beings have thrived in this realm. No matter their race, all who possess a spirit sea can cultivate. Those without one remain mortal for life. Cultivation begins with mortals and proceeds through Qi Refining, Mortal Transcendence, Dao Union, Imperial Awakening, Divinity, Emperor Venerable, Immortal Venerable, and Saint: nine realms in all. Each realm is divided into three stages: Initial Stain, Middle Tide, and Perfected Wave. Above Sainthood lies another realm, found only in the oldest of ancient texts: the sole ruler of the Myriad Worlds, known as Transcendence. For countless years, the Sages have been recognized throughout the Myriad Worlds as the pinnacle of existence. As for Transcendence, no one has reached that realm since those ancient texts were written.
