The Way of Heaven’s Flaws

A hundred thousand years ago, someone cleaved open the Gate of Heaven with a single sword. Since then, the path to ascension has vanished. The Heavenly Dao raged, destroying his body and extinguishing his soul. Nothing of his past was allowed to remain. Yet he managed to preserve a wisp of his remnant soul. After sleeping for a hundred thousand years, he finally reincarnated, only to remain cursed by the Heavenly Dao, which would not allow him to exist. A lone boat leaves no trace and cannot bear old grudges. Flowers fall without a mark; when they meet again, they are strangers. Facing the abyss, he is like water; sitting upon the mountain, he is like stone. The immortal cannot be known, and the human cannot be remembered.
