I Have a Chat Group for the Supernatural

“I’m your dad. By the time you read this, I’ll be dead. But don’t worry, you’re the second generation of a ghost family. My old comrades will bring you into the spirit-fighting world.” Yu Jing’s dad suddenly sent him this message, then added him to a strange chat group. There was a skeleton monster in the group who kept shouting that Yu Jing should die, a little girl who craved gourmet food, though her idea of gourmet food was evil spirits, and several lurkers with creepy profile pictures. At first, Yu Jing didn’t pay it any mind. He assumed it was a horror game fans’ chat group his dad had added him to, until he really encountered a ghost and used the little girl’s ability to deal with some of the ghosts. Just as Yu Jing thought his dad had spoken kindly because he was on his deathbed, his dad came back from the dead.
