There was once an insurmountable chasm between the city and the countryside, making a return to one's hometown an unchangeable fate. The great changes of the age erased that divide, but brought with them an indescribable tangle of emotions. Love's flower was both cruel and magnificent. When it settled into the ordinary, it naturally returned to its roots, yet even after all the glitter had been washed away, its splendor remained. With no other choice, they set out on a sorrowful, bewildering journey back to the city.
