Setting Out From Afar

Living in a village that is both vast and crowded, I cannot silence the clamor lurking beneath the surface. I walk its old yet meaningful lanes and cross its expansive, fertile land. At the first glimpse of sunlight, I scoop up a handful of yellow earth and set off for distant places without looking back.
