Mortal Bones

All things have a spirit; immortals and mortals are no different. The Great Dao reaches to the heavens. You can cultivate it, I can cultivate it, and so can he, or it! Those who hear the Dao first are not necessarily the greatest; the accomplished are revered! Heaven above, earth below. Of all living things between heaven and earth, humans are but one kind. Water stirs the wind, wind whips up the clouds, and clouds shift and change, turning to rain and snow that descend from the nine heavens upon the earth and mountains, nourishing all things! The birth, death, survival, and extinction of all things are merely one cycle of reincarnation. A human life lasts a hundred years, plants live for one season, and mayflies are born at dawn and die by dusk. Those who seek eternal life are nothing but a laughingstock!
