What Do You Mean I, as a Black Dragon, Once Destroyed the World?

“The Black Dragon Zephyros has been slain!” As the dragon-slaying heroes brought their spoils from the dungeon back to the surface, a monument to the dragon’s defeat rose from the ground, and the whole continent cheered this victory in the name of “justice.” They stripped off the dragon’s scales to make armor and drained its core for magical energy, declaring the age of dragons over. Then one day, the Black Dragon Zephyros, who had already been declared dead, was possessed by the soul of someone transported from Earth to another world, and the golden finger known as “Evolution” activated along with it. By continually hunting powerful creatures and devouring rare resources, he could earn evolution points. These points allowed Zephyros to keep transforming: From a broken, wingless carcass into the “Wings of the End,” vast enough to shroud an entire continent. From missing scales into the “Obsidian Dragon Armor,” a body capable of withstanding divine punishment. To survive, Zephyros began exploring the dungeon. Hunting monsters, plundering resources, building a dragon’s lair, recruiting dwarves, forging an alliance with a white dragon with a broken horn... As tremors once again reached the surface, the heroes entered the dungeon once more, bearing sacred relics from the gods. But when they saw the monsters kneeling in worship and the black dragon coiled across the heavens, their eyes nearly rolled back in their heads. “The black dragon that once destroyed the world has come back to life! It must have used some kind of evil power!” Zephyros: “For fuck’s sake, can someone tell me how exactly I destroyed the world?”
