The Zhouli Warrior of the Cultivation World

Ji Bo, a staunch champion of the rites of Zhou, awakens the wisdom of his past life in a dream, fifteen years after arriving in the cultivation world.

He looks at this corrupt world. Everyone is obsessed with living as long as Heaven and Earth, so murder, robbery, magical duels, brawls, and the degradation of public morals happen one after another.

Heartbroken, Ji Bo cries, "The rites have collapsed and music is in disarray!" Determined to follow the sages of old, he establishes a society to teach the rites.

"Junior Brother, when you help someone, they want to repay you. How do you turn them down?"

"Uh... I was just helping out. I never even thought about getting anything in return."

"You're so selfish! You don't want anything in return! How noble! But now the other person feels ashamed to accept a reward, and that makes it harder to encourage more people to do good. Next time, remember to ask for a reward yourself!"

"Xiao Li, I heard your master scolded you?"

"That's right, Brother Ji."

"I once heard that in ancient times, Hui Zi was talking with his teacher Zhuangzi about a tree that grew crooked and was completely useless. But Zhuangzi told his disciples that this was exactly why the tree had never been cut down by a carpenter. Do you understand what I mean?"

"Thank you, Brother Ji. I understand."

The next day, Xiao Li gave up completely.

Time passes, and the Society of Rites gradually grows. Ji Bo's students spread far and wide, but he can't help wondering why this cultivation world has turned out so differently from what he expected.

"What the heck! If you're going to study the rites, at least learn them properly!"
