There Is an Enemy in Heaven

Thirty thousand years. I have been kneeling in this world for so long that I have almost forgotten that the sky is man-made. The day A Jing crawled out from the bottom of the dry well, the iron shackles of the mine locked his ankles, but did not lock his eyes. He has seen the bones of mining slaves built into the rock wall, seen the fire of the altar engulfing the same kind, and seen pairs of unwilling eyes in the darkness. He has also seen that thread - the thread that connects the mines, underground rivers, hundreds of families, and the conspiracy from 30,000 years ago. At the end of the line is a secret that humans have forged themselves but never dare to touch again: The rules of heaven and earth were created by humans. Fear gave birth to God, God made a cage, and the cage trapped everyone. And the only way to break the cage is not to resist, but to stop being afraid. This is a story about "not kneeling". From one person not kneeling, to a generation not kneeling, to the human race no longer kneeling.
