After Grandpa Disappeared, I Inherited the Book of Life and Death

My name is Lu Chi, and I work as an embalmer at a funeral home. My grandfather disappeared thirty years ago, leaving behind only a notebook that writes by itself. Every line that appears in it is the unfulfilled wish of someone who died a violent death. Fulfill the wish, and the words disappear. Fail to do so, and it takes years off your life. The Three Precepts of the Spirit Warden: Never refuse. Never covet. Never judge. I had been following them perfectly. Until the day my own name appeared in the notebook.
