Empress, You Should Have Captured My Heart Long Ago

"My dear subject, now that the nine provinces are unified and the realm is at peace, the palace is the only place still missing an imperial consort..."

"What do you mean my intimacy level isn't high enough?"

"What do you mean you're not only my loyal subject, but also the strategist of that rebel enchantress, the guide of the Miaojiang witch, and the golden-blade consort of the Northern Barbarian princess?"

Facing the furious empress, Lin Chen merely glanced at the System panel he'd put together by hand and sighed.

"Your intimacy level isn't high enough to unlock the hidden CG."

"Your Majesty, you should have started winning me over sooner."
