The Soul of a Strange Dream

It all began with an utterly ordinary, strange dream.

The world has two realms, yin and yang. Some people with unusual constitutions can travel in their dreams to the place where spirits reside. But nearly everyone wakes up again, and when they talk about it afterward, they dismiss it as nothing more than a dream of fleeting riches.

But Gu Yan could not wake from this dream, no matter what he did. He could only watch helplessly as his soul left his body, then take the lantern that guides the way to the underworld and walk step by step toward its gates.
