My Girlfriend Is Ten Thousand Light-Years Away

Lin Shu, a high school sophomore, embraces the spirit of "scientific cultivation." He takes apart a battery pack from his dad's electric scooter, then recites a few lines from a roadside booklet of the Great Light Mantra. And then...

Boom!

It doesn't start a fire or end in tragedy. Instead, it produces an alien girl with a 9-out-of-10 rating in looks.

She says her name is Ji Ya, she's from billions of light-years away, and she has a whole bunch of "superpowers."

Like lifting objects from a distance, or reading minds. She can even fly?

Lin Shu thinks it's magic, but she insists it's science.

Fine, call it science if you want. But can you explain...

Why do you look even prettier than the campus belle in my school uniform?!
