Green Plague: an Ecological Disaster Based on Monteclaro

Editor's note: The following text is compiled from the private notes of the late botanist Dr. Adrian Montalvo, the unpublished experimental diary of Professor Herman Salcedo, the remaining archives of the PR-9917 project, oral records of survivors, and the post-event investigation files of the Monteclaro City Government. All descriptions involving the biological mechanisms of Chlorophytum are based on the research manuscripts left by Dr. Montalvo during his lifetime. The United Nations Environment Program's 2018 investigation report characterized this incident as "a localized ecological collapse caused by unknown biological factors." However, the purpose of this compilation is not to retell the official conclusion, but to present those who were forced to make choices in the disaster, and what they saw, feared, concealed, and ultimately could not escape.
