Chasing the Dao Across Mountains and Seas: The Path to Godhood

In the old calendar year 2026, humanity scientifically confirmed the existence of the colloid for the first time. Later generations called it Yuanli.

That same year, humanity first proposed the Homecoming Plan: Shanhai.

Humanity was born amid the mountains and seas, and only temporarily dwelled in this world. Humanity had already begun its long journey home, and the leaders of the Human Alliance named the entire homecoming endeavor the "Shanhai Plan"!

In the old calendar year 2049, humanity successfully created its first person to commune with the divine and enter the Dao by drawing Yuanli into the body: the Thunder God!

From then on, humanity entered the Age of Communion with the Divine. Later generations designated that year as the first year of the Divine Calendar.

In the 59th year of the Divine Calendar, the Homecoming Plan: Shanhai was officially restarted, and humanity embarked on the road home!

In the 179th year of the Divine Calendar, Ye Youdao, a third-year high school student, rescued a child from drowning and unexpectedly communed with the divine on his own. He joined the Shanhai Plan and began his journey along the Dao.
