Alim, I Have Brought You Destruction!

Four thousand years ago, the gods rampaged across the earth, and humanity could only endure a humiliating existence beneath the claws of dragons. A warrior named Arim stole fire from the gods, kindled his own soul, and raised a blade against the divine. He unfurled his battle standard and spread war across the world. The blood of the gods stained land and sea. In the end, every god fell. Arim founded his own empire and declared the day of his coronation the start of the calendar, beginning the second half of his life as a tyrant.

In the year 301, the Sulfurfire Witch appeared. She dried up the Sunken Sea, corrupted the Rampart of Heaven, burned half the world, and nailed Arim to the depths of hell. After that, nothing world-shaking ever happened again, and humanity continued in peace for more than a thousand years.

In 1800, The Book of Calamities, a prophecy that had recorded Arim's slaughter of the gods and the Sulfurfire Witch's burning of the world, was lost. In 1803, it appeared in the hands of an ordinary man named Qi Xiang, transformed into an ordinary notebook. No one knew what instructions it would give or what storm it would unleash. Once more, fate returned to an unpredictable chaos, or perhaps... became a weight in the hands of a mortal, capable of changing the world.

"Wait, are you sure you want to give it such an absurd title as The Demon Man's Journey?"

"Shut up. That's an order."

The story begins when Qi Xiang is commissioned by a witch to travel far away and gather material.
