Sleeping Under the Sea

Seventy percent of the earth is covered by oceans, and most of the deep-sea humans have never set foot. Hidden in ocean trenches, hydrothermal vents, and ancient sediments are clues to the Earth's evolutionary history and the origin of life. A lot of ancient biological and geological information is only preserved a few kilometers under the sea. We want to know how this planet was born and how life first appeared.
