A Kiss for the Delicate

[Modern Sweet Romance] [College Campus] [He Pursues Her] [One-on-One Romance, Both Leads Have No Past Relationships] A Taoist priest once said, "If you feel an inexplicable attachment to a city, it means there are people and things there that you are meant to encounter." So Wen Shu applied to Nancheng University, a thousand miles from home, and moved in with the Ji family. When they first met, Ji Jie was cool and distant. When a friend asked about her, he simply replied, "We're not close. She's someone else's kid. I'm just looking after her for a couple of days." Wen Shu became someone who followed him around. After spending some time together, her clingy, easily tearful nature got on his nerves. "Don't talk to me at school." After the semester began, someone asked Wen Shu if she knew Ji Jie. Without hesitation, she answered, "No." Ji Jie: "..." For the first time in his life, he learned what it meant to shoot himself in the foot. Ji Jie was every bit as unruly as his name suggested. He loved video games and all kinds of adventures, but had no interest in women. As he put it, women would only slow him down. He had a career and dreams ahead of him, but romance had no place in his life. His friends often teased him, saying a man like him was destined to die alone. Then one afternoon, they saw him pull Wen Shu into his arms. "You should start calling me Baby." In the twenty years before meeting Wen Shu, Ji Jie had all kinds of dreams, but never once dreamed of falling in love or getting married. Then she came along, and at last, his wandering heart found a home. "It was meeting you that made me want to fall in love." "It's you who made me realize I need a wife and want to get married."
