They’re Fighting to Recharge My Affection Meter

How do you design a character-raising game? You create satisfying moments, provide emotional gratification, draw players in, then block their progress at a crucial point and offer all kinds of paid bundles. Love works the same way. As a lousy game designer for character-raising games, Chen Ce has always believed that if he packages himself as the protagonist of a raising game, beautiful girls will come flocking to him. After transmigrating, Chen Ce obtains the Game Editor. He has to make himself the male lead and design a game just for him, drawing all kinds of beautiful girls into virtual worlds so they'll spend money on it. "Money," "knowledge," even "artistic skill": anything can be exchanged for Chen Ce's "affection" in the game. He posts quests, waits for the girls to complete them, clears the main story stages, and repeats the cycle. Then one day, after the girls have become completely hooked on the game, they suddenly discover that it has stopped getting updates. They corner Chen Ce in an alley, pressing him hard. "Hey, hey, can't you tell the difference between a game and real life? The game's stopped getting updates. Aren't you supposed to quit playing?" What do you mean, you want to play games with me for the rest of your lives?
