The author is quite familiar with weapons from the Second World War. The data is detailed and the various origins of the weapons are also clearly written. It may be a bit niche, but we military novel lovers firmly support you in writing it.

Purely personal opinion: The start is too slow, the forward swing is too long, hurry up to the battlefield, and the irrelevant and trivial content can be deleted drastically within at least 100,000 words (for example, what about the 17-chapter full-company assessment, listed as a single chapter?)
