The Yuanhong lineage has only ever had one successor at a time. After Cangshan falls, its sole heir, Xiao Chiheng, flees south with the spirit sword Yuanhong. Burdened with the task of reuniting the Seven Swords and reforging the Demon-Sealing Pact Runes, he journeys across the Nine Provinces under relentless pursuit by the Demon Cult, seeking the other sword wielders he has never met. Amid the turmoil of the martial world, he strives to preserve the last spark of righteousness. (Inspired by the story of Hongmao and Lantu, with my own original additions, to recapture a little of the youthful chivalry I once dreamed of.)
