Eighth Day

Yanjiang City, the Eighth Day Noodle House keeps the lights on late at night. The boss Lan Chen has a secret: after nightfall, he can see the annotation above everyone's head - a line of small words that writes the last page of that person's fate. Reading out the annotation is equivalent to rewriting a page of fate, at the cost of one's own memory, senses, and even existence. In order to find his missing father, protect his noisy sister, and keep the taste of the bowl of soup, Lan Chen stepped into the underground world of Yanjiang: the Eighth Department of the City God Bureau, the Eight Families, the Millennium Registration Organization "Modern", and a group of lunatics determined to make the world nameless. But everyone was hiding one thing from him - his own annotation had been changed.
