The Spring Tide Runs Wild

[No blood relation + Older man, possessive love] When Nan Yin was six, she was taken into the powerful Shen family. The first time she met Shen Yanting, she was only as tall as his leg. She looked up at him admiringly and sweetly called him "big brother." Shen Yanting glanced down at her carelessly and told her not to try to cozy up to him. Years later, after carefully plotting at every turn and wearing him down, Nan Yin finally pushed Shen Yanting onto her bed. She kept it from everyone and got him into her arms. But she never won his heart. It all ended on the day Shen Yanting was leaving the capital to take up a post. Nan Yin deleted all his contact information, then left for another country without a backward glance, cutting ties with him for good. Three years later, they met again in a hotel suite. Looking down at her with distant indifference, Shen Yanting asked, "Do you still remember me?" Nan Yin matched his coolness, pretending to scrutinize him. "You seem to be my brother." The next time they met, there was a man beside Nan Yin. She introduced him to the others as her boyfriend. Shen Yanting glanced sideways at her. His gaze crossed the two meters between them, watching her through a faint haze of smoke. His expression was impossible to read. After holding back for days, he seized his chance and locked her in a room, closing in on her until their breaths mingled. Dropping all pretense, he asked in a quiet, pleading voice, "Didn't you say you'd take responsibility for me? Do you still want me?" Whether as her big brother or her fiancé, he had never intended to let her go once things spiraled out of control.
