Mecha Gourd Hero

The Mecha Calabash Rainbow Heroes, originally titled The Calabash Brothers: A New Tale, takes place many years after the Calabash Brothers. The brothers have transformed into the Seven-Colored Mountain, sealing away the Snake Demon and Scorpion Demon for four hundred and ninety-nine years. On a stormy night, an “alien venom” falls from the sky and possesses the two monsters. In a single night, it robs the seven brothers of all their superpowers. Without the powers heaven granted them, can they still protect the mountain? The answer lies not in magic, but in the hands of an ironworker with callused palms. Ma Xiaobei builds a custom mecha for each of the seven brothers. When steel clashes with sorcery, and willpower takes the place of magic, a battle spanning humans, demons, and alien life erupts from a lonely stone house and engulfs the entire Seven-Colored Mountain. This is a story about what you can fight with when you've lost every gift you were born with.
