In this world, humans live in high-walled city-states. The endless wilderness outside the territory is full of secret realms of disaster beasts. Powerful disaster beasts periodically set off waves of disaster and destroy city-states. Humans rely on beast masters to fight against disaster beasts. The top management of mankind is divided into: the Beast Control Alliance Council (the highest authority, with many internal factions, including conservatives, warring factions, and ambitious conspirators); major beast control academies; border guarding corps; and independent and free wilderness beast masters. Bloodline beast masters and mutated beast masters are extremely precious, and high-level beast masters possess the power to change the situation of the battle. On the surface, the alliance fights against disaster beasts, but internally there is power struggle. For the sake of power, resources, and bloodline beasts, heroes can be sacrificed and evidence of crimes can be fabricated.
