The Road Home Without Spirit

The Yunheng Sect's Grade A, Seventh Squad: ten young cultivators riding swords across the continent to the far end of the Western Lands, where they were to hunt down an ancient ferocious beast.

After the mission was complete, a white light engulfed heaven and earth.

When they awoke, their spiritual power was gone.

The ten cultivators who had once soared through the skies on their swords were stranded at the continent's westernmost edge, turned into "mortals" who could be devoured by magical beasts at any moment.
