Brother Hong, I Really Want to Be a Good Person

On one side is the torturous senior year of high school in 2012, with rural boy Ji Xu selling fried chicken in school and spending money recklessly with Brother Hong and Ye Bing; on the other side is the class reunion ten years later, when the former class teacher becomes the principal, old loves are absent, and friends have their own regrets. The gap between urban and rural areas, trivial human relationships and youthful regrets are intertwined, describing the stumbles and growth of young people in small towns.
