Apocalyptic Interstellar Travel

In 2287, the sun began to burn out. It's not natural aging, it's not a solar storm - it's an alien mechanism "Star Fetus" that has been sleeping for 4.6 Billion years. It is waking up, absorbing energy from the core of the sun, and converting it into energy veins "light strings" throughout the solar system. The sun dimmed at a speed visible to the naked eye, the surface temperature dropped sharply, the ecosystem collapsed, and human civilization fell from the Golden Age into the "Long Night Era." The star fetus is the reproductive system of the "light broadcasters" of ancient civilizations - they buried the seeds of consciousness into the billions of stars in the Milky Way, using the stars as nutrients to hatch new consciousness bodies. The star fetus is not hostile, it is just growing. But its growth will be at the expense of the sun, and all life in the solar system will be destroyed. The remaining human civilizations scattered throughout the solar system - the Earth, the moon, Mars, and the asteroid belt - must unite and send a death squad to the sun, face this alien existence, and find a third way: neither destroying the star embryo nor waiting for death, but allowing the two kinds of life to coexist. A converted cargo ship named "Spark", carrying thirty people with their own scars and secrets, flew towards the dying sun. Among them are former smuggling captains, solar physicists, senior engineers, information hackers, military commanders, alien biologists... Everyone has a past that they are unwilling to face, and everyone is looking for redemption on this impossible journey. This is a space epic about fear and courage, destruction and symbiosis, loneliness and connection. In the deepest darkness of the universe, the last cluster of sparks flies towards the source of light.
