The story begins with the failure of a global memory synchronization project. Eighty-three billion people lost all their memories in an instant, leaving only their animal instincts like blank sheets of paper. There were only ninety-four survivors - just those members of the underground base who sat in the control room and witnessed the disaster. They maintain a complete memory of civilization underground and become the last fire in the old world. At the same time, in the ruins on the surface, a tall man with no past began to gather people with blank sheets of paper to establish a new order using a languageless intuitive system. He does not want old memories, does not build walls, and requires complete transparency in all rules. Thirteen years later, this cement factory cluster has developed into a utopian experimental area of ​​300 people, while the "awake people" underground are debating whether to intervene on the surface. When the memory is finally repaired, everyone finds that they have two sets of lives at the same time - the memory of fifteen years of ruins and the memory of an earlier civilization. They are incompatible, but both are real. Some people choose to go back to the past, while others stay beside the newly built vegetable plot and continue planting bean sprouts. This work does not give answers. It only asks: If everything could happen again, what should we take away and what should we leave behind?
