This is an epic of troubled times that is completely different from the popular online articles about fighting for hegemony. It does not create gods, whitewash, or sensationalize, but quietly reveals the cruelest truth about power in the late Northern Wei Dynasty: Er Zhurong is not a perfect savior, nor is he a pure traitor in troubled times. He is a butcher, a pillar, a powerful minister, and a lonely minister. The clan Jin Su took revenge and won the blood feud, but lost the general situation; the last lone minister fought to the death and defended his pride, but lost his hegemony. When the once-prominent Erzhu clan was completely wiped out, and their bones were buried in their homeland after a bloody battle, the author did not let the story end in tragedy and despair, but left a gentle and tough ember - an orphan who hid among the people, survived a hundred years of troubled times, and finally lost his murderous and violent spirit, established himself in a prosperous age, and helped the world and people. The hegemony can be reduced to ashes, but the character cannot be destroyed; the dynasty can be overthrown, but the bloodline cannot be cut off.
