Mindscape: Dreamwalker

The flesh is frail, consciousness ascends, and every era has a will of its own. The First Era belonged to the Void. Consciousness stirred in a vast haze, and all things awaited their beginning. In the Second Era, Gilgamesh attained the Dao, ushering in the age known as "Divine Revelation." In the Fourth Era, Qin Shi Huang attained the Dao, and people began pursuing "eternal, unchanging order." This era was called "Constant Order." It saw the Roman Empire, the Qin Dynasty, and Parthia. Now the cycle has reached the Twelfth Era. What will this age bring? A return to "chaos," or the dawn of a new era? The world may be vast, but it can never be greater than the human heart. The Heavenly Dao turns, and so does the human way. This book explores the human way, seeking no answers beyond the world but searching within for the infinite. The human way operates as a law of the world: just as the Heavenly Dao turns through the Five Elements, the human way moves through the Five Emotions, whose cycles give rise to countless human dispositions. Through fantasy, it explores the Dao and depicts the myriad facets of human nature.
