After a fire, insurance adjuster Shen Yan began to see three hidden prices for items: market price, which is how much the market is willing to pay; willing price, which is what someone is really willing to exchange; and disaster price, which is the price that the item will eventually be taken away from the owner after the transaction fails. A burnt wedding photo, a key tag that registers guests, a music box that plays the voice of the deceased... The ability only indicates the price and never directly gives the truth. Shen Yan must go through on-site inspection, ownership verification and evidence tracking to find out who really should bear the price before the disaster price is settled. The fire in Old Port where my father disappeared twelve years ago also gradually overlapped with these abnormal items. Everything has a price. What's really expensive is never money.
