Soul Land: My Meow Martial Soul—From Fat Cat to Fighting Cool Cat

Lu Yuan stays up all night catching shiny Pokémon in the world of Pokémon Kingdom, but dies suddenly and transmigrates to Douluo Dalu. His three chosen starter Pokémon, Meowth, also become an external Martial Soul.

Lu Yuan's Innate Soul Power is the same as Yu Xiaogang's: Level 0.5. But Lu Yuan isn't upset. He knows that Meowth is an evolvable Martial Soul, just like Luo Sanpao.

Meowth and Lu Yuan are connected at heart. It pulls a green Sun Bottle out of its fourth-dimensional pocket, and Lu Yuan's faith immediately crumbles. Could Meowth's only possible evolution really be the fat cat Leafy Meowth?

Just then, Meowth retches and spits out a purple Moon Bottle.

This is... the evolution item for Fighting Meowth!

Lu Yuan is amazed to discover that his Martial Soul, Meowth, works in exactly the opposite way from twin companion Martial Souls. The latter share a single set of Soul Rings between two Martial Souls, while Meowth can have nine Soul Rings along each of its two evolutionary paths, Leafy Meowth and Fighting Meowth. What's more, the skills of all eighteen Soul Rings are shared by both forms.

At the same time, Lu Yuan can unlock a Soul Beast encyclopedia and obtain Cocoa Beans for Meowth to eat, rapidly boosting his own Soul Power.

He also gains abilities from the world of Pokémon Kingdom like these every time his Soul Power rises by ten levels.

Star Magic, ordinary Poké Balls, Great Balls, Master Balls... He's got it all.

Having transmigrated to a new world where one can become a god and live forever, Lu Yuan resolves to begin a new journey with Meowth in this Douluo Dalu, so different from Rookian.
